Watches merged pull requests and drafts the posts about them for X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Discord, and a changelog. A human approves every draft before it goes out. It wrote the update notes on this site, too.

What it is

Shipping is the easy part. Telling anyone about it is where solo builders go quiet. Merge & Tell reads the diff of every merged pull request and drafts posts for the networks you pick, in your product's voice, aimed at the customer you describe.

Nothing posts until you approve it, and then it goes out from your own accounts. No third-party scheduler in the middle. The changelogs on this site come straight out of it.

  1. The site stopped calling itself an alpha nobody could pay

    Every "Sign in" button for a logged out visitor now says "Get started". Sounds small, but "Sign in" is the wrong verb for a stranger who doesn't have an account yet, and I'd been telling every new visitor to do the wrong thing for a while.

  2. Batches stopped forcing all or nothing on publish

    Every channel in a batch now has its own Publish this one button, with the same controls the PR page gives you: edit the copy, check the character count against the tags that'll actually get added, set link and UTM overrides, discard, or pick Publish now, Queue, or Schedule per channel.

  3. The batch page now tells you where a post is actually going before you press publish

    Every batch shows a plan panel with each channel and whether it has copy ready. No more finding out a channel got skipped because a post never showed up after the fact.

  4. Sign-in links now work wherever you actually open them

    Request a link on your laptop, open it on your phone, forward it to another inbox, use it in a private window — it signs you in. No more "code verifier not found" nonsense because the browser that asked isn't the browser that clicked.

  5. The Monday roundup is gone. You pick what ships together now.

    No more waiting for a cron job to decide your small PRs matter. Grab whichever merged PRs belong together, name the batch, write the framing, pick the channels, and generate on your schedule instead of whatever calendar week it happened to be.
